Corky the slacker!!

I know, I know. . .I'm a slacker at blogging! I have been a bit busy and I'm sure that it will only get worse! But I did have Doug take my 7 month pic today after church! She is definately growing like crazy and still making her momma sick! She kicks all the time now though and it's fun to think about meeting her soon! So here is my new pic of my budah belly! Rub it for good luck!

Back in the Day. . . .

Just a little trip down memory lane. . .
The other day at work (East high) I'm just sitting there helping at the attendance office desk and this lady comes in to check on her son's attendance. I ask her what his name is so that we could look him up and as soon as she said the name, I recognized her. . . it was my 3rd grade teacher Mrs. Summers!! Talk about crazy! So we talked for a minute and laughed! She was my favorite teacher at Hillsdale. So I thought I'd pay tribute to the good ol' days and post my 3rd grade scrapbook page! I'm on the front row sporting a red checkered dress and blue hair ribbons! I remember being so embarrassed when I found out that blue hair ribbons did not match my red dress! And for those of you who knew my high school boy friend. . . that sure is Hailame with the afro on the 3rd row in the blue shirt! Good times!

Holy Updates Batman!

On December 16, the gals and I had brunch! I love my friends and we had fun catching up! We missed Eve, Monica and Katie! Oh and Eve, you owe us lunch for not bringing the fruit and whipped cream! I'm glad that we all still keep in touch!

The week before Christmas, we had my fam over to make Christmas candy and treats! As always Ben and Levi kept us very entertained! Ben got a hold of my camera and this is just one of the many kodak moments that he was able to capture! Little Braxton, here's your daddy!

For Christmas this year, we went to Pocatello and had a blast with Doug's fam! We had our traditional Gingerbread House building night. Things can get pretty intense during this! Hansel and Grettel would be envious of these houses though! I think Brad ate a tube of frosting himself! It's supposed to go ON the house Brad! Doug and I got to meet Matt's girlfriend Stephanie. She is adorable and totally belongs with our fam! I just hope we didn't scare her away!

Christmas Day was fun! We got spoiled by Mom and Dad Johnson! Here's Doug trying to haul off with his big bag of goods! He got a shop vac in this cute Santa bag. It was so much fun being around family and playing cards!

When we got back to Utah we got to open presents with my family. Mom and Dad Lloyd also spoiled us! We gave little (actually big) Isaak some cute Superman and Power Rangers jammies and he just had to try them on right away! We could here him up in his room putting on the Superman ones and whispering to himself "I'm Superman!"

I am definately forever greatful for both of our families! They help and support Doug and I so much and I don't know where we'd be without them!

And last but not least, here is my 6 month pose! She is certainly growing and I am still in awe over the whole experience! The fact that Heavenly Father has blessed us so much and is sending us one of his children, amazes me! I can't wait to meet her!

I was released from my calling today as Young Women's President. It was a bitter sweet feeling. I love those girls so much and it will be hard not to worry about them anymore! But this experience has definately taught me so much about myself and most importantly about my Savior's love for us!

5 Intersting/Quirky things about Kristy. . .

I first have to admit that I too talk, sing and dance in my sleep!! And I'll have you all know that I was there the time that Jenn tried to scan Buster like a bag of flour at Harmons! Have you ever heard the song "Who didn't start the fire" That had to be me debut into the sleep singing community! For whatever reason I sat straight up and started doing the the "Can't Buy Me Love" dance and singing "Who didn't start the fire. . . since the world's been turning" I've also been known to say "The PE class is full!" But hey at least I didn't carry a baby trampoline up the stairs right Jenn? Unfortunately Doug is not a talker, so I have nothing to make fun of him back with! He just gets to laugh his butt off at me!

I love the smell of Downey! If it was FDA approved, I'd probly drink it! It just smells delightful and there's nothing better than sheets that have recently been laundered with Downey! Aaaahhh!

I eat my french toast with Mayo! I know, I know, you all thought I was crazy for wanting to drink the Downey and now this?? It's sort of something that we grew up with. My dad always did it and now we all do! You really should try it, it's yummy!

I definately miss the old shows that we used to watch and wish they had a channel that you could request a show! Ie: Today's Special, Mr. Belvadere, Punky Brewster, The Smurf's, The Polka Dot Door. What happened to good quality TV?

And last but certainly not least, my nickname is Corky. Why? you ask? Because my sister Jenn decided that I reminded her a lot of Corky Nemic on "Life Goes On". So now her and my little bro Ben call me "Cork" or "Corky". I can't remember the last time they used my real name! And my nephew Isy calls me "Pork"!

Oh Christmas Tree!!

Here is our beautiful Christmas Tree!! Gracie has been so good this year and has yet to knock the thing over!! I will post more Christmas pics later and pics of me and my gals at our brunch! We are so freakin' hot!

Doug and I have settled on a name finally!!! Miss Hailee Katherine Johnson will be joining us on April 16th (maybe sooner)! Doug got to feel her move the other night! She was partyin' like a rockstar and I told him to put his hand on my tummy and see if he could feel her. When he said "hi" she gave him a David Beckham worthy kick! He was so proud!

She stirs, my little one stirs. . . .

So I've finally felt the baby moving around in there! It's is an amazing experience now that I'm finally feeling better! I had Doug take a picture of me for my 5 month marker. I look like a whale, but at least i'm a cute whale! We still haven't decided on a name yet. Did anyone else have a hard time getting their hubby to like the same names?? She better not be as stubborn as him!! :)

6 Years? Are you sure??

Yesterday Doug and I celebrated our 6 year wedding anniversary!! While it seems like it went by fast, a lot has happened during that time and we have definately become one!! That's not to say that we don't have our quarrells, but I love him still the same!! When I think of all that i've gained by knowing that man, I am forever grateful that Heavenly Father crossed our paths in the summer of 2001 at romantic Lagoon!! I am so blessed with wonderul in-laws and the best friend that I have found in his mom Kathy! Although Doug is not too happy about the shopping habits that I have picked up from her, she has definately showed me how to spot those bargains! But more than that she's shown me how to love unconditionally!

And soon we will be adding to our Johnson clan! Here is a picture of our princess!
